Breaking financial conventions

Numerica Credit Union set out to create an accurate, memorable, and easy to understand translation of their new brand image, creating a branch that provides a significant architectural differentiation in the market.

Beginning with the architectural shell, the concept was designed to relate stylistically to the region’s natural beauty. Breaking convention, the raked roofline, expressive structure, identity pylon and operable glass walls are distinctive and memorable, making branches immediately identifiable at 55mph. The operable glass wall connects the interior to the outdoors, giving Numerica the ability to open for customer social functions, such as a BBQ or outdoor promotional. The interior space reflects the exterior form and is purposely casual, with a clear visual connection to the outdoors and the surrounding indigenous plantings.
