Iconic destination retail shop

The Space Needle’s gift shop, ‘Spacebase’, is located at the base building of the renovated iconic structure. Reflecting the wonder of the 64 World’s Fair, the new base compliments the iconic structure and enhances the guest experience. The winding spiral form allows the Needle’s legs to remain untouched, and the guest queues sightlines showcase the Spacebase gift presentations seamlessly. A spiraling, geometric 3 node merchandise base plan further reflects the tripod base. Combining transparency and playful geometries, the shop delights and enhances the visitor’s experience.
